The links above are of particular Fashion web pages that have a magazine and Billboard as well and target a 'young female audience'. This is the reason i would be competing against these companies because they target the same audience of the same genre. Therefore, the features i use on my outcome will be similar to these fashion companies. They all aim to be Unique and therefore,  they all try to achieve the same thing in the media industry. I want to make my fashion product similar to these. However, i want mine to have more of a unique outlook than these, to make it as successful as i can.

Here are a few features in which i will be competing with for my media product...

Colour...

Colour is important because it creates either a positive or negative contrast. The colour scheme usually identifies the type of fashion company that has published it. For example, the fashion company, 'Jack wills' uses the colour scheme of 'Pink and Navy'. Therefore the audience can recognise that the brand it 'Jack wills'.

Title...

The title is the first feature to capture the audience's attention so it needs to be eye catching and unique so the audience can remember it. The title focuses around the style of typography used and the size, shape and form of it. For instance, if we take the example of a fashion Brand name, such as 'Topshop', It engages the audience instantly because of its large scale.

Image Use...

The use of image needs to be a range of shots. such as, close ups, long shots and mid shots that show experimentation of different angles. The images are mainly of the models for the company and therefore, they need to be able to look the part and play the role of a model. Referring to the idea of props and makeup.Plus, CGI ( Computer generated image) is often used to show these different shots taken. Here is an example of model images from 'Dior'...
